Centre News

On 6th and 27th August 2014 Stanmore BIC hosted a team of young local people from the National Citizen Service in conjunction with The Challenge Network. The team came into Stanmore BIC for a tour of the Centre and a talk from Centre Director Tom Cocklin about how we operate. The group then presented a campaign designed to address a local issue; the idea was to gain feedback before putting the campaign proposal to a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style panel in the hope of gaining funding to implement the idea in the local community.
